Day 1 : Arrival in Ouarzazate
Your adventure starts at Ouarzazate airport, where a transfer awaits to take you to a prestigious riad for the night. If your flight lands in Marrakech, a transfer to Ouarzazate is also organised on the same day.
Day 2 : From Ouarzazate to Zagora
This first day is marked by getting to grips with your buggies. You begin your journey by following the course of an oued, typical of arid regions. The landscape gradually changes, offering views of the rocky expanses and sparse vegetation of the southeast plateau of Ouarzazate, against the backdrop of the majestic Atlas Mountains.
Day 3 : From Zagora to the Chegaga Dunes
On the third day, after breakfast, you head towards M’Hamid, the last village before the vast desert, for lunch. Then, you set off south towards Erg Lihoudi, with the first dunes coming into view. Your journey leads you to the impressive dunes of Erg Chegaga, the gateway to the Moroccan desert, where a bivouac in the heart of the Sahara awaits you by the end of the day.
Day 4 : From the Chegaga Dunes to Foum Zguid
At dawn, you head west towards the Jbel Bani massif, before skirting the Zguid oued valley, a verdant oasis contrasting with the surrounding desert. The route continues towards Foum Zguid, through desert landscapes, where you will spend the night at the Bab Rimal hotel.
Day 5 : From Foum Zguid to Ouarzazate
For this final leg, head northwest back to Ouarzazate. Seize these last moments behind the wheel to admire the Nkhila valley and cross the Jbel Saghro massif, territory of the semi-nomadic Aït Atta tribe. The road then takes you to the Fint Oasis, a haven of peace amidst a mineral decor.
Day 6 : Departure from Ouarzazate
After a relaxing morning and a final sunbath by the pool, a transfer will take you to Ouarzazate airport according to your flight schedule. For those returning via Marrakech, a transfer will be organised in the late afternoon the day before, with a night in a charming hotel in Marrakech.
