Day 1: Arrival in Ouarzazate
Your adventure begins at Ouarzazate airport, where a transfer awaits to take you to a prestigious riad for the night. If your flight lands in Marrakech, a transfer is also organized on the same day to Ouarzazate.
Day 2: From Ouarzazate to Zagora
This first day is marked by getting acquainted with your buggies. You begin your journey following the course of a wadi, typical of arid regions. The landscape gradually transforms, offering views of the rocky expanses and sparse vegetation of the southeast plateau of Ouarzazate, against the backdrop of the majestic Atlas Mountains.
Day 3: From Zagora to the Chegaga Dunes
On the third day, after breakfast, you head towards M’Hamid, the last village before the great desert, for lunch. Then, head south towards Erg Lihoudi, with the first dunes in sight. Your journey leads you to the impressive Erg Chegaga dunes, the gateway to the Moroccan desert, where a bivouac in the heart of the Sahara awaits you at the end of the day.
Day 4: From the Chegaga Dunes to Foum Zguid
At sunrise, you set off west towards the Jbel Bani massif, before skirting the Zguid wadi valley, a green oasis contrasting with the surrounding desert. The route continues towards Foum Zguid, through desert landscapes, where you will spend the night at the Bab Rimal hotel.
Day 5: From Foum Zguid to Ouarzazate
For this last stage, head northwest towards Ouarzazate. Enjoy these final moments behind the wheel as you admire the Nkhila valley and cross the Jbel Saghro massif, the territory of the semi-nomadic Aït Atta tribe. The road then leads you to the Oasis of Fint, a haven of peace amidst a mineral landscape.
Day 6: Departure from Ouarzazate
After a morning of relaxation and a final sunbath by the pool, a transfer will take you to Ouarzazate airport according to your flight schedule. For those returning via Marrakech, a transfer will be organized in the late afternoon the day before, with a night in a charming hotel in Marrakech.
